AZIMUT Hotels is the only Russian hotel chain featured in The List, the annual international ranking published by HOTELS magazine. Over the course of several years, the company has climbed nearly 100 positions in the ranking.
The List is one of the most authoritative international industry rankings of the world’s largest hotel companies. It has been published annually by the professional magazine HOTELS since the 1970s. AZIMUT Hotels is represented in The List as the only Russian hotel operator.
The List ranks hotel companies by the number of properties and the size of their room inventory. In recent years, AZIMUT Hotels has significantly strengthened its position on the international stage. Since 2019, the company has climbed nearly 100 places: while AZIMUT ranked 193rd in the 2020 edition of the ranking, it subsequently moved steadily upward. In the latest edition, based on data as of the end of 2025, the chain ranked 97th.
AZIMUT Hotels’ rise in the ranking reflects the active expansion of its portfolio and growth in room inventory. Today, AZIMUT Hotels brings together more than 70 hotels and resorts in Russia and the CIS, with a total of nearly 13,000 rooms, making it the largest hotel chain in the Russian market.
