AZIMUT Airport Hotel Yekaterinburg has successfully completed voluntary certification under the China Friendly system. Experts from the “Roskachestvo – Tourism” service certification body have confirmed that the property is fully ready to welcome guests from China. The certification information has been entered into the Rosaccreditation registry.
During the audit, experts from the certifying body checked the hotel's infrastructure and service. Everything necessary is provided for the comfort of Chinese tourists: free Wi-Fi throughout the property, the ability to pay with UnionPay cards at the front desk, kettles and drinking water in the rooms, complimentary toiletries and slippers, adapters for the Chinese standard, and Chinese television. In the hotel's restaurants, the menu is adapted for Chinese tourists, and chopsticks are provided. Additional advantages include the location in close proximity to Koltsovo Airport and electronic departure and arrival boards in the hotel lobby and lobby bar.
The certification directly contributes to achieving the goals of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality”, which has been implemented by decision of the President of the Russian Federation since 2025. With the visa-free regime between Russia and China introduced in December 2025 and the projected growth in tourist flow from China, the hotel's readiness to welcome Chinese guests in a language they understand and with consideration for their cultural characteristics is becoming a strategically important factor.
