A large hotel by the federal hotel chain will open in the resort city in 2028. The new 4-star business hotel under the AZIMUT Hotels brand, featuring 254 rooms, will be located in the city center. The project developer, Etalon Hotel development company, has already received a construction permit and begun work. Excavation is currently underway on site, with foundation works set to begin soon.

The new hotel will cater to both business travelers and guests exploring the Caucasus region. The property will feature designer-finished rooms across four categories, ranging from standard rooms of 25 sq m to a 110 sq m family suite. The hotel will include a spa area, restaurant, lobby bar, fitness center, and meeting rooms. Particular attention will be given to creating high-quality event infrastructure, with several modular conference halls equipped with full technical facilities.

The interior design of the hotel is inspired by nature: public and guest areas will be finished in natural tones, using textures such as wood, stone, and marble. A highlight of the hotel will be its panoramic windows, through which the surrounding landscape — featuring Mount Mashuk and the peaks of the Greater Caucasus Range — will become an integral part of the interior space.

The opening of the AZIMUT hotel in Pyatigorsk is an important step in the development of the city’s tourism and business infrastructure. In recent years, Pyatigorsk has demonstrated steady growth in tourist traffic: the number of trips to the North Caucasus is increasing, the event calendar is expanding, and interest in spa and wellness tourism, природным routes, and cultural and historical attractions of the region continues to grow. In these conditions, the creation of additional room inventory will allow the city to accommodate 10% more guests annually.

Maxim Brodovsky, CEO of AZIMUT Hotels:

“Pyatigorsk is one of the key tourist destinations of the Caucasian Mineral Waters region and the administrative center of the North Caucasian Federal District, and we see strong potential for further development of the region. The opening of an AZIMUT hotel in the city will support the development of modern hospitality infrastructure required to accommodate the growing tourist flow and strengthen business activity in the region. We will be pleased to offer guests a modern and comfortable hotel with a high level of service in line with the standards of the AZIMUT Hotels network.”
