The largest Russian hotel chain continues to expand its presence and is opening its first hotel at the renowned ski resort in Karachay-Cherkessia. AZIMUT Park Hotel Arkhyz 4* is located in the very center of the Romantic resort village, surrounded by tourist infrastructure and just a two-minute walk from the ski lifts.
The property features 180 rooms across various categories, ranging from 24 to 62 sq. m., including junior suites and suites with panoramic views, as well as spacious apartments with kitchenettes. The hotel caters to both active and family holidays. Most rooms offer additional sleeping arrangements for families with children, while younger guests can enjoy their own dedicated playroom.
The hotel features a modern spa complex with a gym, saunas, a hammam, a swimming pool and treatment rooms, providing guests with an opportunity to recharge after an active day. For added convenience, dedicated storage rooms are available for sports equipment, while a ski equipment rental shop is also on site.
The hotel’s facilities include a 200-seat restaurant serving buffet breakfast and an à la carte menu featuring Caucasian and European cuisine. A conference hall is also available for business and private events.
The resort’s year-round concept means that the hotel operates throughout the year, with a focus on winter sports, summer trekking, wellness and eco-tours. In winter, guests can enjoy 27 km of ski slopes, nine cable cars and spectacular views of the Abishira-Akhuba and Gabulu mountain ranges. In summer, tourists and mountaineers are drawn by the unique landscapes and scenic eco-trails spanning 44 km. The journey from Mineralnye Vody Airport to AZIMUT Park Hotel Arkhyz 4* takes approximately 3.5 hours.
Maxim Brodovsky, CEO of AZIMUT Hotels:
“The opening of AZIMUT’s hotel in Arkhyz is part of our strategy to expand our portfolio at Russia’s key ski resorts. Arkhyz is a destination that is rapidly gaining popularity. In 2024, tourist traffic to the resort grew by 20% and exceeded one million visitors. At the same time, there is still a shortage of high-quality accommodation options. We are now opening our first four-star hotel at the foot of the Northern Slope, and we are also planning to launch another — a premium five-star hotel with 220 rooms — in the near future. I am confident that our hotels in Arkhyz will not only raise the level of service at the resort, but also enable it to welcome even more guests to this spectacularly beautiful destination.”
