Moscow hosted the awards ceremony for the winners of the 5th “Route Planned” Tourism Awards, established by the Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing house. Following a public and expert vote, three properties of Russia’s largest hotel chain received recognition in various categories.
The “Route Planned” Awards are presented annually to the best projects in tourism, hospitality and active leisure, helping travelers navigate the wide range of offerings on the market. The competition is supported by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the national “Tourism and Hospitality” project and the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
This year, 1,187 entries were submitted. Winners were selected by both travelers and a professional jury comprising tourism industry experts, government representatives and members of the media community. Properties of Russia’s largest hotel chain, AZIMUT Hotels, received recognition in three categories.
AZIMUT Park Hotel Pereslavl 4* was recognized for its contribution to the development of accessible tourism. The hotel has created a barrier-free environment for guests with reduced mobility, including specially adapted rooms, accessible entrances and public areas, as well as a dedicated ramp providing convenient access to the swimming pool.

Photo: Ivan Makeev METROPOL Grand Hotel Gelendzhik 5* received the award in the “4–5* Hotel of the Year” category, confirming its status as one of Russia’s leading premium hotels. Guests can enjoy rooms with panoramic sea views, a private spa center, a fine-dining restaurant and a beach area with premium service.
AZIMUT Park Hotel Prometey Nebug 3* was named a winner in the “2–3* Hotel of the Year” category. The hotel boasts one of the most attractive and convenient beaches on the picturesque Black Sea coast and offers comfortable holidays for families with children and active travelers.
