The annual business forum “Best for Russia. Regional Development” has concluded in the capital of Tatarstan, bringing together leading entrepreneurs and experts to discuss growth strategies, investment mechanisms, and the prospects of regional economies. Representatives of executive authorities and the business community took part in the forum. Anna Borisova, Vice President of AZIMUT Hotels, participated in the forum’s business program.
The central event of the forum was the presentation of the “Best for Russia. Regional Development – 2025” award, which traditionally recognizes the most significant projects in regional economic development. By decision of the expert jury, AZIMUT Hotels was named the winner in the “Best Hotel Chain” category within the “Hotel Chains and Services” segment. The largest hotel chain has confirmed its status for the third time.
For nearly 20 years, AZIMUT Hotels has been dynamically expanding, opening new properties in strategically important tourist destinations. In 2025, AZIMUT Hotels delivered impressive results, opening 10 new hotels in Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Irkutsk, and Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan), and also launched the construction of three tourism infrastructure projects in Dagestan, Altai, and the center of Tula.
In addition to developing the tourism sector, AZIMUT Hotels actively supports social initiatives and sports in the country. The network cooperates with the All-Russian Athletics Federation and continues to support the Moscow marathons and half marathons, various running communities, the youth hockey school of HC Avangard, youth basketball teams, and other sports organizations.
