The largest Russian hotel chain AZIMUT Hotels continues to expand its geographic presence. The company has begun construction of a resort hotel on the coast of the Caspian Sea.
The federal chain AZIMUT Hotels received permission to build a 4* hotel complex with 180 rooms in the historical part of Derbent. The new hotel will be the second facility of the chain in Dagestan. The hotel complex will be located on the first coastline in the area of one of the cleanest beaches of the city - “Kosa”.
According to the project, the building with a total area of more than 12 thousand sq. meters will include hotel rooms of various categories with panoramic views of the sea, a restaurant, a lobby bar, a pool bar, conference rooms, a spa area with heated outdoor and indoor pools. The temperature in the pools will be comfortable all year round, so that guests can enjoy their vacation and take beautiful photos in any weather.
The modern architecture of the building with panoramic glazing will organically fit into the landscape and will become a real decoration of the first coastline of the city. At the moment, the excavation pit for the building is underway at the construction site. Foundation work will begin soon. The construction of the hotel is planned to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027.
