Within the framework of SPIEF-2025, the largest Russian hotel chain AZIMUT Hotels signed an agreement with the Government of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic on the implementation of three major investment projects in the region for the construction and renovation of accommodation facilities with a total investment of 5.7 billion rubles.

As part of the agreements, the management of the AZIMUT Hotels chain plans to build three new facilities in the region. Two of them will be located at the foot of Elbrus - the new AZIMUT Hotel Azau hotel and an additional building of the AZIMUT Hotel Cheget hotel complex. Both facilities will have 4* certification, their total stock will be more than 250 rooms.

Due to the unique location in a picturesque area, almost all rooms will have panoramic views of the magnificent Caucasus Mountain Range. In the city of Nalchik, it is planned to expand sanatorium Dolina Narzanov, including the construction of a new modern building with 120 rooms.

Completion of construction is planned for 2028-2029. The opening of new facilities under the management of the AZIMUT Hotels chain will allow the development of a high-level hotel infrastructure at the ski resort and ensure an increase in tourist flow.

After the completion of the renovation of the Cheget boarding house, which will operate under the AZIMUT brand, the total capacity of the chain's facilities in the Elbrus region will reach more than 1,000 guests per day. This will significantly expand the opportunities for quality recreation for all guests of Kabardino-Balkaria.

Currently, two facilities of the chain are successfully operating in the republic - sanatorium Dolina Narzanov and AZIMUT Hotel Nalchik 4*.
