AZIMUT Hotels continues to demonstrate steady growth, expanding its presence across the country and contributing to the development of the tourism industry. Over the past year, the company has opened 12 new hotels, further strengthening its position as Russia’s largest hotel operator.
On September 18, 2025, AZIMUT Hotels celebrates 19 years in the hospitality industry. The company continues to actively expand both its hotel portfolio and its health and wellness resort business. Today, the network operates more than 70 hotels and sanatoriums in 50 cities across Russia and the CIS. AZIMUT Hotels’ total room inventory has reached 12,500 rooms — the largest portfolio among Russian hotel operators.
AZIMUT Hotels’ development strategy is focused on creating the most extensive network of hotels and sanatoriums in Russia, all operating to consistently high service standards. The opening of new properties directly contributes to the growth of regional tourism potential. Recent examples include the launch of hotels in Yoshkar-Ola, Abakan, Tambov and Sol-Iletsk, significantly expanding accommodation options for travelers and increasing tourist flows to these destinations by more than 15%.
Over the 19th year of the network’s development under the AZIMUT brand, 12 new hotels have opened:
- Premium AZIMUT Grand Hotel Tashkent, the company’s second property in Uzbekistan.
- City hotels in Kazan, Abakan, Tambov, Stavropol, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Saransk.
- A countryside hotel in Sol-Iletsk and Park Hotel & Spa in the resort village of Repino on the Gulf of Finland in the Leningrad Region.
- Two major properties in Moscow — at the Skolkovo Innovation Center and AZIMUT Hotel Aerostar near Dynamo Metro Station.
- A boutique hotel in a historic 19th-century building in Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Moscow Region.
A number of other hotels are currently at various stages of construction, with a combined room inventory of more than 3,000 rooms. These include properties on the Caspian and Black Sea coasts, in the resort areas of Kabardino-Balkaria, in central Perm, as well as in Irkutsk, Novomoskovsk and other regions of Russia. In the popular tourist destinations of Tula and Nizhny Novgorod, two five-star hotels are currently under construction and will open under the new premium brand, Libra.
AZIMUT Hotels continues to grow steadily, expanding its room inventory and opening 10–12 new properties each year. The chain’s revenue continues to increase: in 2024, the group’s total revenue grew by 20% year-on-year to RUB 28 billion. These figures reflect not only the company’s own growth, but also the broader development of the tourism ecosystem.
One of the company’s key priorities is to create high-quality infrastructure for travelers where it is most needed. More than 3 million guests stayed at AZIMUT Hotels properties over the past year, with one in two returning to the chain’s hotels for a repeat stay. Trust in the brand, service and operational expertise is also reflected in guest feedback, with the properties receiving an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on reviews on Yandex.
In the coming years, the company will continue to unlock the potential of domestic tourism in Russia, making travel comfortable, safe and accessible for millions of guests both within the country and beyond its borders.
