On September 17, 2026, AZIMUT Hotels celebrates its 20th anniversary. The company marks the milestone with a portfolio of 75 properties and nearly 13,000 rooms across 52 cities, from Kaliningrad to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Today, the chain operates in Russia’s largest tourism and business hubs, developing both urban and resort hotels, as well as health and wellness properties. In terms of room inventory, AZIMUT Hotels ranks first among Russian hotel operators.

Over the past 20 years, the company has consistently expanded its geographic footprint, opening hotels both in major cities and in emerging tourist destinations. In 2025, AZIMUT Hotels opened 11 hotels in Russia and Uzbekistan. In the near future, new properties will open in Perm, Tyumen, Orenburg, and Kogalym.

In 2026, AZIMUT Hotels is placing particular emphasis on the modernization and renovation of its managed properties. In March 2026, the company began construction of 55 additional rooms at AZIMUT City Hotel Khabarovsk 4*. The work is scheduled for completion in January 2027, after which the hotel will have a total of 153 rooms. Another renovation project is currently underway in Murmansk, where 18 new rooms, including nine suites, are being created in a new design concept. The new rooms at AZIMUT City Hotel Murmansk 4* are scheduled to open to guests in April 2027.

The next stage of the chain’s development is its international expansion. AZIMUT Hotels is the first Russian hotel operator to be entrusted with managing hotels in the Sultanate of Oman. In October 2026, AZIMUT will open two hotels at once: AZIMUT Hotel Musandam 4*, with 105 rooms, and AZIMUT Hotel Khasab 3*, with 60 rooms. Both properties are located in the north of the country, in the Musandam Governorate, which is also conveniently accessible from Dubai.

Maxim Brodovsky, CEO of AZIMUT Hotels:

“In 2006, the first seven hotels came together under the AZIMUT brand. Today, we are Russia’s largest hotel chain by both the number of properties and room inventory, and we continue to grow — importantly, not only within Russia anymore. For us, this is a natural stage of development: the operational expertise we have accumulated over two decades enables us to enter international markets and compete there with other well-known hotel operators. One of our key goals for the next few years is to demonstrate the quality of our hotel management at an international level. At the same time, of course, we will continue developing Russia’s regions and opening new properties across the country.

In 2025, more than 3 million people stayed at our properties, and over the past two decades we have welcomed more than 25 million guests. People choose AZIMUT, return to our hotels, recommend our hotels and resorts, and that, for us, is the greatest reward and recognition.”

The AZIMUT Bonus loyalty program already has 1.4 million members, making it the largest loyalty program among hotel operators in the country. Over the years, the chain has earned recognition not only from its guests but also from the professional hospitality community. AZIMUT Hotels was included in the international ranking of the world’s largest hotel operators published by HOTELS: in 2025, the chain ranked 97th among 200 companies and was the only Russian operator included in the ranking. In recent years, AZIMUT Hotels properties have also repeatedly received awards and won industry accolades in hospitality and tourism.
